Alice Nováková

Junior Researcher


Alice Nováková is a junior researcher at Peace Research Center Prague and a PhD student at the Department of German and Austrian Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.


Research focus

In her doctoral research, Alice focuses on Germany’s feminist foreign policy and anti-gender mobilisation.


BACKGROUND

During her studies, Alice undertook research stays at Stockholm University and Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. She obtained her master’s degree in international relations at the Faculty of Arts, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

Before entering academia, she worked as an external relations specialist and coordinated a project aimed at supporting gender equality in science and technology at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.
