Anna is a Ph.D. candidate in Area Studies at the Department of Russian and Eastern European Studies, Institute of International Studies, Charles University.

RESEARCH FOCUS

In her dissertation research, Anna examines images of Russia in Czech and Slovak public discourses and their role in the construction of national identity in Czechia and Slovakia.

BACKGROUND

Anna holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Charles University. She has a professional background in public administration, having worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the Cabinet of the Minister for European Affairs.
