Nikola Kurková Klímová

Postdoctoral Researcher


Nikola Kurková Klímová is a postdoctoral researcher at the Peace Research Center Prague.

She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and a member of the Czech Centre for Human Rights and Democracy.


Research focus

In her research, she specializes in conflicts and cooperation between international and national adjudicative bodies, methods of State coercion and international legal instruments reinforcing strategic State autonomy.

Background

Nikola holds master's degrees in Law and International Relations from Charles University. In 2019, she completed her LL.M. studies as a George Spyrou scholar at Cambridge University where she specialised in Public International Law.
