Shreya Sharma is a predoctoral researcher at the Peace Research Center Prague and a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of International Studies at Charles University, Prague.
Research focus
Her dissertation explores gender perspectives on the global nuclear order, particularly on the extent to which ideas of gender influence India's decisions to acquire and modernise its nuclear weapons.
BACKGROUND
In the past Shreya has conducted field work exploring the role of women in conflict in Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territory. She has also worked on studies related to Nepal's peace process.
