Global Information Interconnectedness Index (GI3)
In GI3, we work on developing a measure of the degree to which states and societies across the world are connected by flows of political information. Using big data and automated text analysis techniques, we formulate an original index that captures the magnitude of political information ties connecting people globally, across state borders. The work of GI3 is closely connected with the project Global Flows of Political Information (GLOWIN), financed by the prestigious PRIMUS scheme of Charles University, led by Michal Parizek.
