We are thrilled to welcome four new researchers in our team! Their research will enable us to broaden our focus into areas such as public discourse and national identity, computational science, individuals’ positions toward foreign and security policy, arms control as well as emerging and disruptive technologies.
Anna Šillerová is a new Ph.D. candidate in Area Studies at the Department of Russian and Eastern European Studies at the Institute of International Studies, Charles University.
In her research, she examines images of Russia in Czech and Slovak public discourses and their role in the construction of national identity in Czechia and Slovakia.
Klára Kosová is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Russian and Eastern European Studies, Institute of International Studies, Charles University. Her research combines social sciences and humanities with computational science to address complex societal challenges.
She also focuses on questions of legitimacy crises in contemporary democracies, with attention to post-socialist countries in Central-Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
Tobias Risse is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the PRCP, where he is part of the OP JAK INTERFER project.
He is also a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Political Science at the University of St. Gallen with his research focusing on states' and individuals' positions toward foreign and security policy.
Alžběta Dvořáková is a new Ph.D. student of International Area Studies at the Institute of International Studies, Charles University.
Her research focuses on arms control, disarmament as well as emerging and disruptive technologies.
